Do I have time to do an Overseas Project?
Custom production begins with samples. Sometimes this requires custom design or art work, new molds to be created and sample production. This can take as little as 2-weeks if the 1st sample is perfect, up to many more weeks if numerous revisions are required. Once approved, goods are manufactured from raw materials, product is assembled if needed followed by printing/embellishing (Logo) and packaging. Normally this process takes 30-45 days depending on the product. Finally there’s export & shipping which can be as fast as 3-5 days (Air) or as long as 1-month (Ocean). A good rule of thumb is to assume a total of 2-4 months for new overseas orders.
How much will I save?
Total cost (prices) will generally be HALF THE COST or less, than items you might find ready made on the web or in U.S. catalogs, depending on the quantity ordered and shipping method.
Are import products safe?
Imported Products we manufacture in Asia adhere to the same strict safety and quality control standards as our domestic products. We require factory inspections, third party independent product testing and lab testing (when required). Products are compliant with all Federal, State, CPSC (products for children 12 and under) and ASTM standards, including product labeling, certifications and filings required by law.
Is the quality the same as other products?
We have rigorous quality control standards in place. EVERY ORDER IS INSPECTED PRIOR TO SHIPPING by an independent inspection firm to insure the quality of the production is the same as the sample provided. This is included in the price.
Will I see & approve a sample prior to ordering?
We will always provide a finished sample, including logos, packing or any other custom features you require prior to production, or at a minimum provide digital pictures of samples
What is the minimum order size?
Our unique relationships enable much smaller minimum orders than typical imports, starting at only 500-1000 units in some cases, meaning a total minimum order of roughly $2500-$4000, but as low as $1500 depending on the product. This varies depending on how expensive the item is and the minimum order for raw materials for the product you choose.
What do you mean by Custom Products?
Most “ready-made” logo merchandise comes in a specific color, shape & size which is in inventory and we simply print/embellish with a logo. At our overseas factories we can make a product any color, including a custom “Pantone color” products. We can do any size or shape and we can place and print a logo anywhere on the product.
